Goals:

  • Sell tickets to upcoming show (June 2024)

  • Increase awareness that Ava Lake makes original music

Strategy:

  • Post four times to the grid two times before the show and two after the show

  • Pick an eye catching outfit with an engaging background

  • Create mystery and intrigue through side profile shots and fast editing/lighting choices

  • Use original music to differentiate brand from other musicians

Reporting:

  • Views: the first reel did the best with 1825 views, with the last and final video of the campaign receiving 959 views

  • Likes: the first video only achieved 39 likes and four comments while the final video received 67 likes and six comments

Takeaways:

  • The video that received more engagement was a higher quality video and used original audio

  • Even though the first video did not get as many likes as the last, the reel reached 59% more accounts than my average of recent reels

  • My average watch time for the first reel was 4 seconds even though the full video is 15 seconds, this tells me I need a stronger hook to keep people watching the video
